Darrin Cook is the Executive Director at Milton Recovery Centers, bringing over 15 years of experience in substance use and mental health treatment. With an MBA in Healthcare Management and a background as a medical specialist in the United States Army, Darrin is passionate about mentoring future leaders and driving strategic initiatives that empower teams and improve patient care. He believes in the power of continuous self-improvement, guided by his favorite quote from Epictetus: “Progress is not achieved by luck or accident, but by working on yourself daily.”
Outside of work, Darrin enjoys outdoor activities like golfing and fishing and is an avid Stoic philosophy student. His favorite book, Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, fuels his approach to leadership and personal growth. In the coming year, Darrin aims to further his professional development by completing certifications in project management, business intelligence, and data analytics while continuing to support Milton Recovery’s mission of improving communities near and far.
