Treatment Programs

Recovering from addiction and mental health is a life-changing journey that involves different treatment programs and levels of care designed to help support each person’s specific requirements. Our programs allow for leading each patient into lasting recovery. We utilize personalized planning to fit the unique needs of our patients and offer the best outcomes.

Milton Recovery Centers - Mental Health IOP

Milton Recovery Centers is at the forefront of these initiatives and is committed to providing holistic and successful treatment choices. With our extensive knowledge about the intricacies of addiction and mental health disorders, Milton Recovery Centers creates a nurturing space where individuals can seek recovery and regain power over their lives.

Treatment Programs

Substance abuse treatment programs at Milton Recovery Centers cater to diverse needs.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

PHP is a step down from inpatient treatment, offering intensive services without full-time hospitalization. During this time, patients will also have off-campus activities like outside meetings, structured recovery outings, physical fitness time, grocery shopping, and more to help them transition to living outside a heavily structured environment. During the PHP level of care, patients also stay in accommodations provided by the facility so that they can have supervision from recovery support staff at all times.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Treatment, or IOP, is the next step in treatment. IOP programs allow individuals to maintain daily responsibilities while receiving group or individual counseling and access to sober living housing. During IOP, patients will receive fewer clinical hours and groups, allowing them to start focusing on life outside of treatment. However, they will still have the support and structure that is required during early recovery from addiction and healing from mental health disorders.

Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatment, or OP, is the final stage of treatment before completely leaving treatment or entering into care with a private therapist, psychologist, or other mental health professional.

Each level of care incorporates key elements such as counseling, therapy, and support groups. Tailoring the combination of these elements to individual needs optimizes the effectiveness of each treatment plan.

Specialized Treatment Programs

At Milton Recovery Centers, we understand that everyone’s journey to recovery is different. We offer specialized treatment programs that are designed to meet each person specific needs.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Dual diagnosis treatment is for individuals dealing with both substance addiction and mental health disorders at the same time. This comprehensive approach addresses both issues, increasing the chances of long-term recovery. For example, someone struggling with depression and alcoholism would receive treatment for both conditions simultaneously, ensuring a well-rounded approach to their overall well-being

Long-Term Recovery Support

Aftercare services are critical for staying sober, avoiding relapse, and keeping a close eye on mental health symptoms that can lead to a backslide after completing initial treatment programs. At Milton Recovery Centers, we know that continuing care services are essential for long-term recovery success.

Benefits of Aftercare Services

Support Network: Access to a community with similar experiences and challenges, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support.

Relapse Prevention: Ongoing therapy sessions help individuals develop coping strategies to deal with triggers and high-risk situations.

Lifelong Learning: Educational workshops provide knowledge about addiction and recovery, equipping individuals with tools for sober living.

Skill Development: Life skills training assists in rebuilding and enhancing interpersonal, professional, and social capabilities.

Research shows that longer aftercare participation leads to better outcomes. Individuals who continue with aftercare activities for an extended period are more likely to achieve lasting sobriety and long-term mental well-being.

These options are designed to meet the specific needs of each individual on their recovery journey. By actively participating in these resources, individuals can strengthen their recovery process and navigate life’s challenges after treatment with confidence and resilience.

Addiction Treatment Process

At Milton Recovery Centers, we understand that the journey toward addiction and mental health recovery is highly personal. Therefore, this journey begins with our intake process. Our compassionate team gathers critical information about the individual’s health history, substance use, mental health diagnoses, and personal circumstances.

Next, we conduct an in-depth assessment. During this assessment, we collect more information to craft an individualized treatment plan for each patient, ensuring the best outcome while in our care.

A key component of our planning process involves including the patient’s goals and needs. We believe their input is invaluable in crafting a successful recovery route.

Moving forward, we implement these plans through various therapy modalities. For example, cognitive-behavioral therapy teaches coping skills. Motivational interviewing strengthens the commitment to change. Dialectical behavioral therapy helps regulate emotions.

We use a combination of treatment modalities that allow each patient to conquer their addiction. Consequently, they recognize signs related to their mental health.

Individualized Addiction Treatments and Modalities

At Milton Recovery Centers, we understand that each person’s journey to recovery is unique. That’s why we believe in providing personalized addiction treatment that is tailored to meet the specific needs, experiences, and strengths of every client we serve.

Our Approach to Therapy

We offer a wide range of therapy modalities designed to support individuals in their addiction recovery process. Here are some of the key approaches we use:

Behavioral Therapy: This type of therapy involves individual and group sessions as well as family therapy when appropriate. Its goal is to improve communication skills and build strong support systems.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): In CBT, clients learn practical skills to identify risky situations and develop effective strategies for preventing relapse.

Motivational Interviewing (MI): MI is a collaborative approach that helps clients find their own motivation for change by exploring their values, goals, and concerns about substance use and mental health diagnoses.

Through these various therapy methods, we are committed to providing holistic care that goes beyond just treating the symptoms of addiction. Our goal is to address the root causes of addictive behaviors and help individuals build fulfilling lives in recovery.
