Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get access to the app?

The Milton Nation Alumni App is available exclusively to Milton Recovery Centers alumni and staff. After you download the app and submit your registration, a staff member will review and approve your account — usually within 24 hours. You’ll receive a push notification the moment you’re approved.

Make sure the phone number on your profile matches the number you’re checking. Verify your phone has signal and isn’t blocking texts from unknown numbers. The code expires after 60 seconds — tap “Resend” to get a new one. If the issue persists, contact us below.

On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password” to receive a reset link to your email address. Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it within a few minutes. If you still can’t log in, contact us and we’ll help you regain access.

New accounts are reviewed by Milton Recovery Centers staff to verify alumni status. If your account has been pending for more than 24 hours, reach out to us directly and we’ll get you approved as quickly as possible.

Inside the app, go to your Profile → Edit Profile to update your name, phone number, profile photo, and other information. Your updated phone number will be used for future login verification codes.

Tap the Meetings tab at the bottom of the app, then tap Nearby Meetings. Allow location access when prompted. Meetings near you will appear on a map and as a list. You can also search by address or browse all meetings.

Go to your iPhone Settings → Notifications → Milton Nation to turn off all notifications, or manage which types you receive. You can also control notification preferences inside the app under Settings → Notifications.

The app automatically calculates your sobriety milestone based on the sobriety date you entered during registration. You earn badges at key milestones (30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, and beyond). You can update your sobriety date at any time from your Profile.

The Milton Nation Alumni App is a closed, private community — only approved Milton Recovery Centers alumni and staff can see content inside the app. Your recovery information (sobriety date, program type) is never shared with insurance companies, employers, or any third party. To report inappropriate content, press and hold on any post or message and tap Report. Our moderation team reviews all reports promptly. In the case of a mental health emergency, crisis resources are automatically surfaced and staff are alerted.

You can request account deletion from inside the app under Settings → Delete My Account, or email us at admissions@miltonrecovery.com. We’ll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
